After a successful career in public accounting and financial services, Jeff started The Cheney Group in 2003 with the mission of bringing the consulting approach to the real estate profession. A different approach than most, Jeff prides himself in being able to offer this practical advice to clients, helping them achieve their real estate goals at the right time for them. Over the last 12 years, The Cheney Group has become one of the largest real estate teams in Texas, thanks to over $300 million in North Texas sales.

The Cheney Group In The Community
Jeff was first elected to Frisco City Council in 2007, re-elected in 2010 with nearly 80% of the vote, and ran unopposed in 2013. He has been chosen by his fellow Council Members to serve as Mayor Pro Tem four times. He has served on many City Council committees, including the Budget and Audit Committee, the Frisco Square Municipal District, the Technology Committee and the Governance Committee among others. In addition, Jeff served six years on the Board of the Frisco Education Foundation, as well as volunteering and serving on the boards of many charitable events. He currently serves on the board at Quest Resource Management, a full service environmental consulting and management group. Jeff is very involved in the Frisco Chamber and the local business community. Dana served on the Frisco Cares Board and is heavily involved in local women’s groups and the PTA. All members of The Cheney Group share this passion to serve in the local community.
